The cavity back design offers more perimeter weighting and increases MOI creating greater forgiveness. The deeper cavity lowers the centre of gravity which improves the playability of the club, and helps players get the ball in the air.

The wide sole design on the Cleveland CG16 Black Pearl wedge creates maximum forgiveness and bunker performance while maintaining shot-making versatility. 'Zip groove' and 'laser-milled' technology offers the CG16 Black Pearl wedge the maximum conforming dimensions within each groove whilst adding four laser-milled texture lines between each groove to increase Cleveland CG16 Black Pearl Wedges the ball-to-club friction.

Great club. Feels good and plays well. There is plenty of zip despite the new groove rules. You really cannot go wrong getting a couple of these.
