The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast Fairway offers more speed and power than ever before. The improved SuperFast Technology package, which is a lightweight shaft that is extra long and large clubhead, promotes more swing speed, more ball speed and more distance. This club has a bigger, more expansive clubface and the largest steel head (200 cc 3-wood) TaylorMade has ever offered.

The combination of lightness and size means the TaylorMade Burner SuperFast fairway wood offers high ball speed, wonderful levels of forgiveness and excellent length from a variey of lies.

The TaylorMade Burner Superfast fairway wood follows the same design keys as the Superfast driver with a deeper head front to back and a longer shaft for more distance. The head was not as triangular as the driver and the Superfast fairway actually has a pretty traditional look, which we liked, although the red line colour scheme on the crown divided opinion. The face was pretty forgiving and the feel and sound at impact was excellent. The Superfast range is about distance over accuracy and to that end TaylorMade have used a longer lighter shaft in the fairways for more clubhead speed. In the 3-wood this did seem quite long, but it was not so bad in the shorter woods so try before you buy as some may struggle with this. Despite the weight being low and deep the trajectory of this club was very good and the TaylorMade Burner Superfast is a good fairway for mid to high handicappers looking for an extra few yards.

I have always used ping drives but i thought i would try the burner superfast.I believe this driver is longer and easier to hit .
