The TaylorMade R9 Superdeep TP Driver is a player's driver that owes much to TaylorMade's rich heritage in the driver market. Tracing it roots through the 300 Tour, R510 TP and r7 425 TP the R9 SuperdeepTP further enhances the R9 series of drivers.

The R9 Superdeep TP features a 460cc head and a 2.76 inch clubhead height - the exact legal limit as specified by the R&A. The R9 Superdeep draws its name from the ultra-deep clubface that measures 2.55 inches. Ideally suited to better players with strong swing the R9 Superdeep promotes low ball spin for extra distance.

Despite the increased height and depth the TaylorMade R9 Superdeep TP retains the compact look that lower handicap golfers demand at address while the design has moved the centre of gravity towards the front of the clubhead to offer increased workability off the tee.

Too much club for me...unless you swing with ease and tend to hit drivers too high this likely won\'t be the club for you either. If you do decide to try one I would recommend adding a degree of loft to what you normally use and finding one with a high launch shaft. In my case, I have a Ping G5 10.5 with a ProLaunch Blue Stiff shaft, so that wouldn\'t be possible for me, but if you have say a 9 degree driver you hit too high, try this in a 10.5 and you might have something that\'s really workable. My Ping G5 still works great for me most of the year but I wanted a lower trajectory club for when the ground gets firmer. But at 9.5 Stiff this one went way too low for me. The head design promotes low trajectory so for the vast majority of players, I would recommend the TaylorMade R9 SuperDeep TP Driver . I am going to try a different shaft to see if it will help the launch angle but overall leave the SuperDeep to the super long and super high strikers of the golf ball. The head looks awesome, very similar to the old R5 series, which I loved, and it was fun to try, but save yourself the bucks and stick to the more conventional R9 clubheads unless you smash it like a pro with your driver.

Finally, I\'ve got the right driver for me, compact head 460cc straight shot every time after I adjusted the head the way I wanted. I knew that Taylormade coming out with this driver so I\'ve been waiting for little while and finally I\'ve got it! I would suggest that this driver suitable for a single handicap golfer.

\"Beautiful Ball Flight\". I hit a 10.5* driver real high so my other drivers are 8.5 to 9.5. But this 10.5 R9 Superdeep is just right, nice long soaring ball flight and accurate to. It does have a little heavier swing weight than others but not enough to.

The taylormade products are exceptional! I\'ve hit a 510tp for years now, but the R9 superdeep gives the ball quite a serious smack! The head is very solid and the ball flight is impressive. I hit the 10.5, with an actual loft of 10 degrees which gives it great air time. Play golf America and put Taylormade in your bag!

this is very nice sharp looking golf club. this club is monster, because when i hit right, ball flys so far, but when i hit wrong even little, i\'m gonna donate my ball to golf course. if you think you hit the ball so high, you may be gonna like it. because this club is low spin and mid-low launch.

Golf Club is very good. It seems to be very accurate off of the tee. It took me a little while to get it set up correctly, but now I seem to be able to keep it in the fairway and work the ball either way. I had the R5 before this driver and I can hit this one about 15-20 yards longer consistently. I bought this to upgrade to something a little newer than what I previously had. Longer off the tee with more accuracy and able to be adjusted after purchase, a very good buy to help my game!

Best driver I\'ve ever hit, it\'s incredibly long and my mishits often times stay in the fairway. If you are on the fence about the Superdeep I would definitely recommend it!

bought this because i was having trouble hitting straight drives i was able to set the weights for adraw and since then my drives have been straight and long for me i am hitting it straighter and longer than i ever did

if you have a high swing speed and are an 8 or better handicap .then it\'s a great driver, very long and straight if you hit it right, if you miss hit a lot then it goes much shorter than typical drivers.

As i said this is the best club i have ever had. If you have been thinking about one, you will love it as i do. I can buy any club i want and after i got this one. WOW my game went from ok to good over night. I am not a good golfer like many of you but this club will help you with your hook or slice.Hope it works well for you !

Decided to go for this driver because I used to own and love it. It looks classic at address. It has super low spin and a relatively low ball flight despite the 9.5 loft. Overall I lovie it.

I wanted a taylormade club that was adjustable to help me with my fade to the right. After the first swing the club and I got along just fine. Now I can fine tune the club to help me with my fade to get more distance.

This club is for the better player, not great player. but if you are using serious game to improve irons the TaylorMade R9 SuperDeep TP Driver is where you should look. But if you are a lower handicap I would STRONGLY recommend this club! I

This driver is excellent. Tried several drivers before this one and balooned all of them. This club brought my spin numbers and launch angle right down. Definitely the lowest spin head i\'ve hit. Small head looks great at address and it\'s super solid to hit. More forgiving than some reviewers say (definetly not the monster reserved for high swingspeed single digit handicappers some describe it as). Misshits are punished with distance loss, but still fly relatively straight. When hit on the screws this is the longest driver i\'ve owned.
